The people of Galway City and County have enjoyed the work of The Galway Ensemble in Residence since ConTempo String Quartet took up the post in 2003. Since then these world class musicians have played a key role in the musical life and musical education of the county.

The rebranding of the residency is the next stage in the life of this wonderful programme. By its very nature it has always been owned by the people – now The Galway Music Residency aims to be an even more inclusive programme which will expose the people of Galway to more genres of music, guest artists, collectives of musicians and performance and education opportunities for all.

We are hugely excited that REDmillion was choosen to prepare full rebranding package for The Galway Music Residencythat included:
